Conduct Guidelines
1. No outright disrespect for the Catholic Church, Doctrine, the Pope, etc.
Lux in Spelunca is a Catholic Forum, and wishes to stay such. We require members to show proper respect towards the Catholic Church and her teachings; Schismatic beliefs will not be openly taken as the Forum's stance. Those of whom don't appreciate this rule are welcome to leave.
2. No profane language.
Any member who excessively uses strong language will be in danger of forum supension. Also, those who attempt to hoodwink the Forum word censor in any way will also be in danger of suspension (if done after being warned). Common euphemisms are allowed, however (such as "darn").
3. No inappropriate/mature conversation.*
Of any sort. Basically, any material that would not be considered appropriate for the minimum forum age (12) is not allowed. We leave this to the discretion of our older Moderators.
4. Be respectful to fellow members.
Any kind of flaming/spiteful conversation will be moderated. It is highly inconvenient and frankly rather awkward for other members to be inadvertently in the middle of a flame war. Warnings will be given by moderators for this kind of behavior. Please, if you must have a serious, personal conversation with someone, do it through PM. However, we also discourage flaming through PM. Please remember that there are real people on the other side of your monitor. Also, be aware that mindless teasing that may seem harmless to you and a fellow member may not look as such to other people.
Remember not to use other members full names online unless they have openly said that the don't mind.
5. No posting other member's Private messages without permission.
Doing such is an invasion on other member's privacy.
* If the forum obtains enough older members who wish to debate on topics that count as "mature" (but still appropriate) in the future, a permissions section could possibly be added.
