Hi Michaela, Sarah, and other peoples. Cool

Just a quick note. On the forum home page, where it says something like "This site is moderated for the safety of it's members", the "it's" should actually be "its". "It's" is a contraction for "it is", and can only be used as such, while "its" always possesses something, i.e. "this site and its members are cool". I know this is a hard concept and not much cared about anyway, but my mom is a grammar freak and I inherited that gene, apparently.

Anyway, sorry to be a nerd/jerk in my first post! Sarah sent me a PM on Thinklings about Lux in Spelunca and said I was welcome to give advice, so I guess this is my advice - not concerning a very big matter, I know, but I just had to get it off my chest. Nod

Thanks for pointing that out...I wouldn't have noticed it. My fault; I always get the two mixed up, because apostrophes usually denote possession. :think:

It's kind of a silly rule, but that's English for you. :=P:

Don't worry, I'm a grammar freak/nitpick too - except for when it comes to "its", apparently. Wink
