Ermmm, I don't think you understood what she meant.
in the link she posted, she said that the admins can change your name color only. Basically, the only people who have colors right now are in groups, (i.e. spam cops, mods, admins. etc.) and you can only get a color without being in a group by making a thousand posts.

Erm, well the color groups means you have the jobs to go with them (i.e. mod, spam cop etc.) And you should be a member for..at least a couple of weeks don't you think?

It's an open group if you want to ask to join go to the bottom of the page (where it tells you what the colors mean) and click on birthday committee and ask to join in there.

1. No one sentence posts unless they are in The Rubbish of Randomosity, a game, or making a sarcastic remark (Such as "Smooth, Sarah. "). The main gist is, no useless comments or quick conversation (such as "Hi, how are you?" "Oh, I'm fine"); if two members want to converse while online at the same time in a convenient manner, they can use the chat box or PM. That's what they're there for!
2. No pointless posts or rude interruptions. You will have to use your own common sense here. Basically, be polite of other people's conversation on the forum as you would in real life. Also, use the quote button, as it can be very obnoxious if you're having a different conversation with someone and you don't indicate who you are talking to.
